It helps if you are good with technology but we need to test it on those who are not too– so don’t let that stop you! \nAdditional Information\nAre you passionate about helping newcomers find support?\nWe’re launching a new initiative to connect SE WI individuals reaching out via phone or web for help with caring volunteers to speak with them live. \nProject Goals:\nConnect our area’s newcomers with a volunteer for a 12 step call or suggest a meeting\nEnable technology from our office call forwarding or web chat to volunteers remotely at their homes\nCall/text Coverage needed when office is closed: Tuesdays\, Fridays\, and Sundays\, 10 AM – 4 PM \nHow You Can Help:\nBecome a project Volunteer for just 1 hour a week\nParticipate in planning and mini-trials of different solutions\nHelp us make a real difference with newcomers by creating a great process! \nProject Timeline:\nPhase 1: Team formation (Now – Oct 22) (2 volunteers)\nPhase 2: Mini-trials (Oct 22 – Nov 10).
